The rapid rise of generative and agentic AI is fundamentally changing how products are designed. This TETRA project helps Flemish SMEs get an overview of the available tool landscape and put those tools to effective use, through hands-on workshops, community events and the development of an AI-powered product design toolkit.

Structurele implementatie ontbreekt.

Vlaamse ontwerp- en maakbedrijven gebruiken AI vandaag vooral ad hoc: niet het aanbod aan tools is het probleem, wel het ontbreken van een kader. AIPPD brengt in kaart welke tools in welke fase van het ontwerpproces werken en onder welke voorwaarden. We delen de resultaten via hands-on workshops, partnerevents en een AIPPD-toolkit, en publiceren voorbeelden uit de praktijk in onze case-card bibliotheek.

The tools are here. The framework isn't.

Flemish design and manufacturing companies mostly use AI ad hoc today: the problem is not the supply of tools, but the absence of a framework. AIPPD maps which tools work in which phase and under which conditions regarding IP, privacy and quality control, tested in real company cases and published in our case-card library.
